tasmiṁś ca tat-tad-vilāse — within that manifold play; śrī-kṛṣṇa-saṅgamaḥ tu yathāvad eva — the union with Śrī Kṛṣṇa is exactly real; na tv ākrūrāgamana-vad anyathā — not turning otherwise as with Akrūra's coming; iti āha—citreti — so he says 'citra…'.

And within that ever-varied play, the union with Śrī Kṛṣṇa is exactly what a union should be — a genuine meeting. It does not flip round into separation the way it did when Akrūra came, where the 'meeting' turned out otherwise. To make this point Rūpa adds the second line, 'citra…'.
Akrūra's coming (ākrūrāgamana): Akrūra arrived in Vraja and carried Kṛṣṇa off to Mathurā, so that his 'arrival' became the great separation. Jīva contrasts it as a saṅgama that turned 'otherwise' — here, in the dreamlike play, the union is instead genuine.
