The verse — decoded
L1other
prāṇān akṛtāhārā sakhi
prāṇānher very life-airs — the thing she would let go acc. pl.; object of tyajati in L2प्राणों को (आगे L2 के 'त्याग देती है' का कर्म)
akṛtāhārāshe who has taken no food — fasting bahuvrīhi, fem., describing Rādhā-the-cātakīजिसने आहार नहीं किया — अर्थात् भूखी (राधा रूपी चातकी का विशेषण)
sakhiO friend! — she turns to address her companion vocativeहे सखी
sakhi — O friend; akṛtāhārā — [she who is] fasting, taking no food; prāṇān — [would give up] her life-airs
O friend! She has taken no food at all. And her very life-breath —
The line hangs open; its verb 'would give up' arrives in L2. akṛtāhārā ('having made no eating') fits both layers of the verse: the cātaka bird that will not drink from the ground, and Rādhā who has not eaten.
L2other
rādhā-cātakī varaṁ tyajati |
rādhā-cātakīRādhā, who is the cātaka bird — the creature that drinks only from the cloud nom., subject; śleṣa — reads both as 'Rādhā-the-cātakī' and simply as 'the cātaka bird'राधा रूपी चातकी (कर्ता) — श्लेष: 'राधा-चातकी' भी और सीधे 'चातक पक्षी' भी
tyajatigive [them] up — abandon [her life-airs] present, functioning as the 'rather' half of the comparisonत्याग देती है (तुलना का 'बल्कि' वाला भाग)
rādhā-cātakī — Rādhā-the-cātakī; varam — would sooner; tyajati — give up [her prāṇas]
Rādhā — she is a cātakī bird — would sooner throw her life away.
In poetry the cātaka bird drinks only rain fresh from the cloud, never water off the ground; that famed one-source fidelity is the whole image. So the verse runs on two levels at once (śleṣa): the bird and its cloud, and Rādhā and her Kṛṣṇa.
L3other
na tu kṛṣṇa-mudira-muktād
na tubut neverपरन्तु नहीं
kṛṣṇa-mudira-muktātthan what is released by the Kṛṣṇa-cloud — [the water, or nectar,] let loose from the cloud that is Kṛṣṇa ablative, construed with amṛtāt in L4; mudira = rain-cloudकृष्ण रूपी मेघ से छूटे हुए (से) — L4 के 'अमृत' के साथ अन्वय; मुदिर = वर्षा-मेघ
na tu — but not; kṛṣṇa-mudira-muktāt — [other than what is] released by the Kṛṣṇa-cloud
But never — she will take nothing except what falls from the Kṛṣṇa-cloud.
mudira = rain-cloud. On the bird-layer: the water the cloud pours down. On the Rādhā-layer: Kṛṣṇa himself is the cloud.
L4other
amṛtād vṛttiṁ bhajed aparām ||
amṛtādthan that nectar — the rain, or the nectar he leaves ablative of comparison, going with aparāmअमृत से (भिन्न) — तुलना का पंचमी, 'अपरा' के साथ
vṛttiṁ ... aparāmany other sustenance — other means of keeping alive acc.; aparām = 'other', splits around vṛttimकोई दूसरी वृत्ति (निर्वाह/जीविका) को; अपरा = 'अन्य', वृत्ति के दोनों ओर टूटकर आता है
bhajedwould she [ever] resort to / take up optativeअपनाए / ग्रहण करे (विधिलिङ्)
amṛtāt — than the nectar; aparām vṛttim — any other sustenance; bhajet — would she take up
She would never turn to any other food than that nectar. Give up her life first — that is the vow.
amṛta on the bird-layer is the rain-water; on the Rādhā-layer it is Kṛṣṇa's nectar (his leftover food, or his very self). The commentators split here — see Jīva s8 and Viśvanātha s5.

What does maryādā mean here? A binding restraint. And it comes one of three ways: you are born with it, or the Vedic code lays it on you, or you take the vow on yourself.
The three sources match the three examples Jīva says are coming (s3).

Even in the visible Vṛndāvana pastimes, where she is not openly his wife, the mark of being his eternal beloved runs so deep that no liking for anyone else can rise in her on its own. So inside, toward Kṛṣṇa, she holds only the mood of a wife toward her husband.
This is Jīva's own reading of Rādhā's inner state — inwardly her bhāva toward Kṛṣṇa is pati-bhāva, husband-mood; the appearance of anyone else is only outward (s6).

Why cited: Adduced to prove the inner pati-bhāva of s5: in her own later words she calls Kṛṣṇa 'ārya-putra,' the very term a wife uses for her husband.
ārya-putra ('son of the noble one') is the respectful word a wife uses to address her husband — so it betrays her inward husband-mood.

'What the Kṛṣṇa-cloud releases' — Jīva reads it as the nectar of Kṛṣṇa's remnants, the food left over once he has eaten. She will take that relishable prasāda, and nothing else.
This is Jīva's reading of amṛta. Do not blend it with Viśvanātha's (s5), who reads the nectar as Kṛṣṇa's own beauty, voice, and so on.

Or take a second setting. Nāndīmukhī, testing how deep Rādhā's love runs, says: 'I've tried for you again and again; it's now clear Kṛṣṇa won't come to you. So find some other way to keep yourself alive.' And Rādhā, still in the first flush of love (pūrva-rāga), answers with this verse. Viśvanātha offers this as a second reading and lets it stand beside the first — he does not decide between them.
pūrva-rāga = the stage of love that arises before the lovers have met; Nāndīmukhī is the friend who probes the depth of that love. The source reads 'nirdhārita-mataḥ,' most naturally taken as 'nirdhāritam ataḥ' ('it is settled; therefore').

The inner feeling is this: 'The Kṛṣṇa-cloud rains down nectars — his beauty, his fragrance, his sweet voice, his flavour, his tenderness, his wit. On these alone I will keep my senses, my eyes and all the rest, alive, and on nothing else. That is my vow. So I will simply die first.' Here Viśvanātha reads the 'nectar' as Kṛṣṇa himself, drunk in through every sense.
The six nectars are the six delights the senses take in him (rūpa, gandha, svara, rasa, sparśa/tenderness, and his wit) — distinct from Jīva's reading of amṛta as his food-remnants (s8).
