upataru lalitāṁ tāṁ pratyabhikṣāya sadyaḥ
upataruclose beside the tree upa- 'near' + taru, adverbial locative — the spot where the recognition happensवृक्ष के समीप — उसी स्थान पर जहाँ यह पहचान होती है
lalitāṁ tāṁthat very Lalitā accusative, first thing recognizedउस ललिता को — सबसे पहले जिसे पहचाना
pratyabhikṣāyathe instant I recognized [her] again gerund, prati-abhi-īkṣ = pratyabhijñā, 're-cognition' — knowing again someone once knownपुनः पहचानकर — जिसे पहले जाना था, उसे फिर से जान लेकर
sadyaḥon the spot, at onceतत्काल, उसी क्षण
upataru — close beside the tree; sadyaḥ — at once; tāṁ lalitāṁ — that very Lalitā; pratyabhikṣāya — the instant I recognized her again
Right there beside the tree, in a flash, I recognized her — that was Lalitā! Kṛṣṇa speaks with a voice breaking with emotion. The recognition lands all at once.
An udāharaṇa of siddhi — 'the unforeseen attainment of the desired object' (iṣṭārtha-saṅgama), the sandhy-aṅga just defined at 162: atarkitopapannaḥ syāt siddhir iṣṭārtha-saṅgamaḥ, 'siddhi is the coming-together with what one longed for, arriving unexpectedly.' Cited from the sixth act (yathā ṣaṣṭhe) of Rūpa's own Lalita-Mādhava, spoken by Kṛṣṇa with a choked, faltering voice (sagadgadam). The lead-in calls it a nidarśana 'because of the cognition of the original and its counterpart' (bimba-anubimba-vastu-bodhana): bimba is the original figure, anubimba the counterpart in which it reappears (as a blue lotus's reflection on water is the same lotus seen again, not a second flower) — here Kṛṣṇa suddenly knows the loved originals of Vraja again in the persons before him.

prakṛti-madhura-rūpāṁ vīkṣya rādhākṛtiṁ ca |
prakṛti-madhura-rūpāṁwhose form is sweet by her very nature accusative, describing rādhākṛtiṁ — sweetness that is not put on but native to herजिसका रूप स्वभाव से ही मधुर है — ओढ़ी हुई नहीं, सहज मधुरता वाली
vīkṣyaand on catching sight of gerund, second act of seeing paired with pratyabhikṣāya of L1देखकर
rādhā-ākṛtiṁthe figure of Rādhā accusative, the thing seenराधा की आकृति को — जिसे देखा गया
caand too — joining this second recognition to the firstऔर (भी)
ca — and too; prakṛti-madhura-rūpāṁ — whose form is sweet by her very nature; rādhā-ākṛtiṁ — the figure of Rādhā; vīkṣya — on catching sight of
And then, catching sight of the figure of Rādhā — that form sweet by her very nature — the second recognition strikes. First Lalitā, now Rādhā herself. The two are named in turn.
Why cited: part of the udāharaṇa of siddhi (162): the desired object arriving unforeseen — Kṛṣṇa unexpectedly knows Rādhā again in the figure before him.

maṇim api paricinvan śaṅkha-cūḍāvataṁsaṁ
maṇim apiand even the jewel as well accusative; api adds a third recognized object to Lalitā and Rādhāउस मणि को भी — ललिता और राधा के पश्चात तीसरी पहचानी गई वस्तु
paricinvanas I made it out, discerning it present participle, nominative — agrees with the 'I' of aham (L4)पहचानते हुए (मैं) — 'अहम्' का ही कर्ता-रूप विशेषण
śaṅkha-cūḍa-avataṁsaṁthe crest-ornament [once worn by] Śaṅkhacūḍa accusative, describing maṇim — the jewel Kṛṣṇa had taken from the slain demon Śaṅkhacūḍaजो शङ्खचूड का शिरोभूषण थी — वही मणि जो मारे गए शङ्खचूड नामक असुर से कृष्ण ने ली थी
śaṅkha-cūḍa-avataṁsaṁ maṇim api — and even the jewel, the crest-ornament that was Śaṅkhacūḍa's; paricinvan — as I made it out
And even the jewel — I made it out too: the crest-gem that had been Śaṅkhacūḍa's. Three recognitions now stack up: Lalitā, Rādhā, and this jewel. Each one strikes home as Kṛṣṇa looks.
Why cited: part of the udāharaṇa of siddhi (162): a third unforeseen recognition, thickening the rush of the desired thing arriving all at once.

muhur aham udghūrṇaṁ bhūriṇā sambhrameṇa
muhuḥagain and again, over and overबार-बार
ahamI [Kṛṣṇa] nominative, subject of udghūrṇaṁ and of the participle paricinvan (L3)मैं — 'उद्घूर्णम्' का तथा (L3 के) 'परिचिन्वन्' का कर्ता
udghūrṇaṁreeled, was thrown into a whirl the main verb — udghūrṇ, to be shaken and spun aboutविह्वल होकर डगमगा उठा — क्षुब्ध होकर घूम-सा गया
bhūriṇā sambhrameṇabecause of an overwhelming flood of flustered excitement instrumental of cause; sambhrama = the confused flurry of a sudden joyful shockअत्यधिक सम्भ्रम के कारण — सहसा उमड़े आनन्द से उत्पन्न घबराहट-भरी हड़बड़ी से
aham — I; bhūriṇā sambhrameṇa — because of an overwhelming flood of flustered excitement; muhuḥ — again and again; udghūrṇaṁ — reeled and was thrown into a whirl
Again and again I reeled, thrown into a whirl by a flood of flustered joy. This is the payoff: the recognitions land, and Kṛṣṇa is overcome, swaying, undone by the shock of getting back what he longed for. That overwhelming rush is exactly the mark of siddhi — the desired thing arriving unforeseen.
Why cited: the closing line of the udāharaṇa of siddhi (162): the emotional flood — reeling, over and over — that shows the desired object has been unexpectedly regained (iṣṭārtha-saṅgama).

An udāharaṇa of siddhi, the sandhy-aṅga defined at 162 (atarkitopapannaḥ syāt siddhir iṣṭārtha-saṅgamaḥ) — the unforeseen coming-together with what one longed for; cited from Rūpa's own Lalita-Mādhava (act 6), where Kṛṣṇa, in a choked voice, suddenly recognizes Lalitā, Rādhā, and the jewel and is overcome.
