akṣṇor bandhuṁ hari-haya-harin-nāgari-prāg-ariktāṁ
akṣṇor bandhuṁthe friend of my (two) eyes — the one it is a joy to look upon accusative object, agreeing with guru-rucaṁ in L2 (the radiance is what is 'dear to the eyes')नेत्रों के बन्धु-स्वरूप (नेत्रों को प्रिय) उस कान्ति को — कर्म-कारक, जो आगे 'गुरु-रुचम्' का विशेषण है
hari-haya-harin-nāgari-prāg-ariktāṁa radiance that is not devoid of (a-riktā) the eastern quarter's loveliness — brimming with the dawn-glow of the sun's eastern sky (hari-haya = the sun, whose horses are tawny; harit = quarter; prāc = eastern; nāgarī = belle, loveliness) a dense sun-imagery epithet of the radiance; 'not lacking' the beauty of the sunlit eastजो सूर्य के अश्वों (किरणों) से जगमगाती पूर्व दिशा की मनोहर शोभा से रहित नहीं है
akṣṇor bandhuṁ hari-haya-harit-nāgarī-prāc-ariktāṁ [guru-rucaṁ] — [reveal] the friend of the eyes, [the radiance] brimming with the dawn-glow of the sun's eastern quarter.
Reveal the friend of my eyes — that light, glowing like the dawn that floods the whole eastern sky.
An udāharaṇa of vilāsa, defined in kārikā 65 (nc.6.28) as 'an activity or gesture aimed at union' (saṅgama-artha): Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa), setting the flute to his lips, uses the flute-song as a coded signal to entreat Lalitā and so reach Rādhā — the flute-plea is itself the union-directed gesture. The quoted verse is Lalita-Mādhava 4.22. It runs on two layers at once. On the surface it is a dawn scene: the cakravāka bird, parted from its mate through the night, cries for the sun's new light to break over the east. Underneath, Kṛṣṇa speaks of himself — 'the one named Cakra' (L3) is at once the cakravāka and Cakrī the disc-bearer — begging Lalitā to reveal Rādhā, 'Bhānu's daughter' (bhānavī, L2), whose glow is the very sunrise he pines for.

rogeṇāviṣkuru guru-rucaṁ bhānavīyāṁ navīnām |
rogeṇabecause he is worn by the malady of longing (roga = the sickness of separation) instrumental of cause — the plea rests on his love-sicknessरोग (विरह-व्याधि) के कारण — यह याचना उसी प्रेम-रोग पर टिकी है
āviṣkurureveal her, bring her into view (imperative — addressed to Lalitā)प्रकट कर दे (आविष्कृत कर दे)
guru-rucaṁthe great, deep radiance (guru = weighty, intense; ruc = luster)उस गाढ़ी (गहरी, महती) कान्ति को
bhānavīyāṁbelonging to Bhānu's daughter — Rādhā, child of Vṛṣabhānu; and at the same breath 'solar, of the sun (bhānu)' the verse's headline śleṣa: bhānavī = 'daughter of (Vṛṣa)bhānu' = Rādhā, and 'of the sun' together — so 'Rādhā's new radiance' and 'the sun's new radiance' sound as oneभानवी की — अर्थात् (वृष)भानु की पुत्री राधा की, और साथ ही सूर्य की (यही श्लेष का मूल है)
rogeṇa navīnāṁ guru-rucaṁ bhānavīyām āviṣkuru — worn by [my] malady, reveal the fresh, great radiance of Bhānu's daughter.
O Lalitā, since this malady of longing wears me down, reveal her — that fresh, deep radiance of Bhānu's daughter Rādhā, bright as the rising sun.
The pun on bhānavī is the verse's pivot: 'Bhānu's daughter' (Rādhā) and 'the sun' at once, so the surface plea to the dawn and the inner plea to Lalitā for Rādhā run together.

cakrābhikhyaḥthe one who goes by the name 'Cakra' — the cakravāka bird on the surface, Cakrī the disc-bearer (Kṛṣṇa himself) underneath the pun's pivot: cakra-abhikhyā = 'named for the cakra' — bird and disc-holder in one wordजो 'चक्र' नाम से प्रसिद्ध है — यहीं श्लेष घूमता है: चक्रवाक पक्षी और चक्रधारी दोनों एक ही शब्द में
kim apipast all telling, in some way beyond words — heightening the distressकिसी अनिर्वचनीय (अकथनीय) रूप से
virahādbecause of the separation ablative of causeविरह के कारण

kākū-lakṣaṁa lakh of plaintive, broken cries (kāku = the choked, trembling voice of grief; lakṣa = a hundred-thousand)लाखों काकु (करुण, गद्गद) स्वरों वाले (याचक-भाव) को
cakrābhikhyaḥ virahād kim api ākulaḥ kākū-lakṣaṁ [kurvan] — the one named Cakra, indescribably distraught from separation, [uttering] a lakh of plaintive cries;
And the one who bears the name 'Cakra' — the pining cakravāka, and Cakrī the disc-bearer, in one word — distraught beyond words with the ache of separation, pours out a hundred thousand broken, plaintive cries.
By poetic convention the cakravāka pair is parted all night and reunites only at sunrise; so the bird's night-long crying for the returning sun maps exactly onto Kṛṣṇa's crying for Rādhā, his own 'sun'.

O Lalitā — worn down by this malady of longing — bring into view the friend of my eyes, that fresh, deep radiance of Bhānu's daughter Rādhā, a light no less lovely than the dawn-glow that floods the eastern sky where the sun's tawny horses rise. For he who bears the name 'Cakra' — the cakravāka pining for its mate, and Cakrī the disc-bearer in the same breath — distraught past all telling with the ache of separation, pours out a hundred thousand broken, plaintive cries; and that foremost of all the birds now holds his suppliant's plea out to you.
An udāharaṇa (example verse), in Mādhava's own voice as he sets the flute to his lips, illustrating vilāsa — the union-directed gesture defined in kārikā 65 (nc.6.28); quoted from Lalita-Mādhava 4.22, act four, running throughout on the bhānavī / cakra śleṣa that fuses the dawn scene with Kṛṣṇa's plea to Lalitā for Rādhā.
