so’yaṁ vasanta-samayaḥ samiyāya yasmin
so’yaṁthis very [season] — the well-known one, now come again saḥ + ayam, nom., agreeing with vasanta-samayaḥ; saḥ points to the famous spring of love, ayam to the one present right nowवह यही — 'सः' प्रेम की उस प्रसिद्ध वसन्त-ऋतु की ओर संकेत करता है, 'अयम्' अभी उपस्थित इसी ऋतु की ओर; दोनों वसन्त-समय के विशेषण हैं
vasanta-samayaḥthe spring season nom., the subject of samiyāyaवसन्त का समय — यही 'समिति' क्रिया का कर्ता है
samiyāyahas come round, has arrived perfect of sam + i, 'to come together, arrive'आ पहुँचा — सम् + इ धातु का लिट् (परोक्ष भूत), 'भली-भाँति आ मिला'
yasminin which [season] — loc. rel. pronoun; it opens a relative clause that the rest of the verse fills in (in which the union will be brought about)जिसमें — सप्तमी का सम्बन्धवाचक सर्वनाम; यह एक सम्बन्ध-वाक्य खोलता है जिसे शेष श्लोक पूरा करता है (जिसमें यह मिलन कराया जाएगा)
so’yaṁ vasanta-samayaḥ samiyāya — this very spring season has arrived; yasmin — in which [what follows now happens].
Here is that spring again — the well-known season of love — come round once more. And in this season, the poet says, something is about to be arranged. The relative word yasmin, 'in which', holds the whole sentence open: it is answered only at the very end, by the deed Paurṇamāsī will do.
An udāharaṇa of pravartaka, the prologue-limb defined in kārikā 24 (nc.4.17): 'ākṣiptaṁ kāla-sāmyena pravṛttiḥ syāt pravartakam' — 'when the action is drawn in by the fitness of the season, that is pravartaka'. Here the mention of spring (vasanta, the kāla) sets the coming union going: the season itself prompts the action. Quoted from Rūpa Gosvāmī's own Vidagdha-mādhava 1.10, given as the second illustration of pravartaka (the first, at 24q1, was from the Keśava-carita); the lead-in 'yathā vā' — 'or, as also in…' — marks it as an alternative example.

pūrṇaṁ tam īśvaram upoḍha-navānugāgam |
pūrṇaṁthe full, complete one — lacking nothing acc., describing īśvaram; Kṛṣṇa full in every excellenceपूर्ण — ईश्वर का विशेषण; सब उत्कर्षों-ऐश्वर्यों से भरा हुआ कृष्ण
tamthat [well-known] Lord acc.
īśvaramthe Lord — Kṛṣṇa, the one to be brought [to Rādhā] acc., the object of saṅgamayitā in L4ईश्वर को — यही L4 के 'सङ्गमयिता' का कर्म है (जिसे मिलाया जाएगा)
upoḍha-navānurāgamwhose fresh love has swelled to fullness acc. bahuvrīhi qualifying īśvaram; upoḍha = borne up, come to fullness, nava-anurāga = new love. The printed navānugāgam stands for navānurāgam.
pūrṇaṁ tam īśvaram upoḍha-navānurāgam — that full Lord, Kṛṣṇa, whose new love has swelled to fullness.
Now the one to be united. Kṛṣṇa is pūrṇa — complete, the full Lord, wanting for nothing. And yet even he has taken on a fresh, rising love (anurāga) for Rādhā, a love now swelled to its height. Every word here is accusative: this Lord is the object — the one whom Paurṇamāsī will bring together with Rādhā by the verb that comes only in the last line.

paurṇamāsīPaurṇamāsī [is she who will do it] nom., the go-between; and by śleṣa the full-moon night itself (paurṇamāsī = the night of the full moon)पौर्णमासी — कर्ता, वह दूती; और श्लेष से स्वयं पूर्णिमा की रात (पौर्णमासी = पूर्ण चन्द्र की रात)
asau paurṇamāsī niśi raṅgāya [tam īśvaram rucirayā rādhayā saha] saṅgamayitā — this Paurṇamāsī, at night, will unite [that Lord with the lovely Rādhā] for the love-play.
Tonight, Paurṇamāsī will bring the two together — for the raṅga, the play of their love. Read the last word twice over: paurṇamāsī is both the name of the go-between and 'the full-moon night'. So the line says two things at once — the matchmaker Paurṇamāsī unites the lovers, and the full-moon night of spring itself brings them together. And it is the spring season named back in L1 that sets all this in motion. That is just what makes the verse an example of pravartaka: the action prompted by the fitness of the time.
The verse turns on a śleṣa in its last word. paurṇamāsī = (1) the aged yoginī Paurṇamāsī of the Vidagdha-mādhava, who secretly engineers the lovers' meeting, and (2) 'the full-moon night' — the pūrṇimā of spring. Under the second reading gūḍha-grahā ('with a hidden seizer') hints at graha, the eclipse-demon that seizes the moon; and 'niśi… saṅgamayitā' becomes the bright night itself joining the pair. Both readings serve the one point: the season and its full-moon night set the union going — pravartaka.
gūḍha-grahā asau paurṇamāsī yasmin so'yaṁ vasanta-samayaḥ samiyāya, [tasmin] niśi upoḍha-navānurāgam pūrṇaṁ tam īśvaram rucirayā rādhayā saha raṅgāya saṅgamayitā.

Here is that spring come round again — the well-known season of love — and in it, holding her plan hidden, Paurṇamāsī will this very night bring together, for the play of their love, that full Lord Kṛṣṇa, in whom a fresh love has swelled to its height, with the lovely Rādhā. (And by śleṣa the last word says it twice: it is the full-moon night of spring itself that joins the pair.)
An udāharaṇa of pravartaka (kārikā 24, nc.4.17): the action drawn in by the fitness of the season — spring, named in the first pāda, sets the union going. Quoted from Rūpa's own Vidagdha-mādhava 1.10, the second illustration (yathā vā); turns on the śleṣa on paurṇamāsī — the go-between and the full-moon night.
