suraripu-sudṛśāṁm uroja-kokān
suraripu-sudṛśāṁof the fair-eyed women of the demons gen. pl.; sura-ripu 'enemies of the gods' = the asuras/daityas; su-dṛś 'beautiful-eyed woman'. Genitive governing both objects that followदेवताओं के शत्रु अर्थात् असुरों की सुन्दर नेत्रोंवाली स्त्रियों का (सम्बन्ध-षष्ठी, जो आगे आनेवाले दोनों कर्मों — उरोज और मुख — पर लागू होती है)
uroja-kokānthe koka-birds that are their breasts acc. pl., object of khedayan (in L2). rūpaka: the round breasts = koka (cakravāka, ruddy geese), the pairs the moon is said to tormentउनके स्तनरूपी कोक (चक्रवाक पक्षी) को — यही खेदयन् क्रिया का कर्म है (रूपक: गोल स्तन ही वे कोक-युगल हैं जिन्हें चन्द्रमा सताता कहा जाता है)
suraripu-sudṛśāṁ uroja-kokān [khedayan] — [distressing] the koka-birds that are the breasts of the demons' fair-eyed women.
The verse opens the picture of a moon rising. Its first victims: the breasts of the demons' beautiful-eyed women. Poets liken a woman's round breasts to koka birds — the cakravāka pairs — and the moon is the enemy of the koka, who pine apart through the night. So as this moon climbs, those breast-kokas are set grieving. Why the demons' women? Because Mukunda's fame spreads by his slaying their asura husbands; their glory is the enemy's sorrow.
An udāharaṇa of the āśīr-anvitā nāndī — the opening benediction 'furnished with a blessing' (āśis), the first of the three kinds (āśīḥ / namaskriyā / vastu-nirdeśa) set out in the previous kārikā (4.1). Quoted from Rūpa's own Lalita-Mādhava 1.1. It also answers kārikā 4.2's rule that the maṅgala be candra-marked and lit up with cakra / kamala / cakora / kumuda words: the whole verse is built as one moon (śaśī) working on koka, kamala, and cakora.

mukha-kamalāni ca khedayan nakhaṇḍaḥ |
mukha-kamalāniand the lotus-faces acc. pl., the second object of khedayan. rūpaka: the women's faces = kamala, the day-lotuses that shut at moonriseऔर उन स्त्रियों के मुखरूपी कमलों को — यह खेदयन् का दूसरा कर्म है (रूपक: मुख ही वे दिन-कमल हैं जो चन्द्रोदय पर मुँद जाते हैं)
caand — adding the second set of victims to the firstऔर (कोक तथा कमल — दोनों कर्मों को जोड़नेवाला)
khedayandistressing them, making them wilt pres. part., nom., agreeing with the moon (śaśī); one participle governs both kokān and kamalāniसताता हुआ — वर्तमान कृदन्त, चन्द्रमा (शशी) का विशेषण; यही एक कृदन्त कोकों और कमलों — दोनों कर्मों पर शासन करता है
akhaṇḍaḥyet itself ever-full, never waning khedayann akhaṇḍaḥ by sandhi (printed 'khedayan nakhaṇḍaḥ'); nom., qualifying the moon. The point of contrast — the real moon is khaṇḍa, waxing and waning; this fame-moon is akhaṇḍa, always wholeअखण्ड अर्थात् सदा पूर्ण — चन्द्रमा का विशेषण; सन्धि से खेदयन्न् अखण्डः (मुद्रित 'खेदयन् नखण्डः'); यही विरोध का बिन्दु है — साक्षात् चन्द्रमा तो खण्ड है, घटता-बढ़ता है, पर यह यश-चन्द्र अखण्ड है, सर्वदा पूर्ण
mukha-kamalāni ca khedayan akhaṇḍaḥ — and distressing the lotus-faces [of those women], [this moon] itself ever-full.
The same moon does the same to their faces. A face is a lotus (kamala), and the day-lotus closes its petals when the moon rises. So the demon-women's lotus-faces wilt and shut with grief. And here the poet turns the screw: an ordinary moon is khaṇḍa — it waxes and wanes, broken into phases. This moon is akhaṇḍa, ever-full, never diminishing — for Mukunda's fame only grows.

ciram akhila-suhṛt cakoranandī
ciramfor a long time — adverb, joined to diśatu in L4चिरकाल तक, बहुत समय तक
akhila-suhṛtthe well-wisher of all, friend to everyone nom., qualifying the moon. Contrast: the real moon is enemy of koka and lotus, but this one is friend of allसबका मित्र — चन्द्रमा का विशेषण; विरोध यह कि साक्षात् चन्द्रमा तो कोक और कमल का शत्रु है, पर यह चन्द्रमा सबका सुहृद् है
cakoranandīgladdening the cakora birds cakora-nandin, nom., qualifying the moon; the cakora is said to live on moonbeams and rejoices at moonriseचकोर को आनन्दित करनेवाला — चन्द्रमा का विशेषण; कहते हैं चकोर चन्द्रकिरणों पर जीता है और चन्द्रोदय पर हर्षित होता है
ciram akhila-suhṛt cakora-nandī — for long, the friend of all, gladdening the cakora birds.
But the moon has a kinder face too. It is akhila-suhṛt — the friend of everyone — and it delights the cakora birds, who are said to drink only moonbeams and to rejoice when the moon rises. So the two sides of this moon are set together: grief to the demons' women (the enemy), but joy to the cakoras — the devotees who live on the light of Mukunda's fame. The one moon distresses the foe and gladdens the lover.
The verse is thus double-edged, the standard maṅgala conceit: the same moon that torments koka and lotus (the enemies) is bosom-friend to the cakora (the devotee). Its 'distress' is only for those who set themselves against Mukunda.

Now the poet names what the moon has stood for all along: it is mukunda-yaśaḥ-śaśī, the moon that is Mukunda's fame. And here comes the blessing — 'may it long bestow joy upon you all.' That single wish, diśatu ... mudaṁ vaḥ, is the āśis: the reason this nāndī counts as āśīr-anvitā, 'furnished with a blessing.' Read the whole verse back: Mukunda's fame, a moon that grieves his enemies, delights his devotees, and never wanes, is asked to gladden the audience for a long time to come.

May the moon that is Mukunda's fame long bestow joy upon you all — that moon which grieves the breast-koka birds and the lotus-faces of the demons' fair-eyed women, yet, unlike the moon in the sky, never wanes but stays ever-full, being the friend of everyone and the gladdener of the cakora birds.
An udāharaṇa of the āśīr-anvitā nāndī, the opening benediction 'furnished with a blessing' (first of the three kinds set out in kārikā 4.1), quoted from Rūpa's own Lalita-Mādhava 1.1; the imperative diśatu ... mudaṁ vaḥ is the āśis, and the whole verse is built as one candra (śaśī) working on koka, kamala, and cakora, meeting kārikā 4.2's rule that the maṅgala be moon-marked.
