२९५- थो न्थः।295. tho nthaḥ.थः षष्ठ्यन्तं, न्थः प्रथमान्तं, द्विपदमिदं सूत्रम्।thaḥ is in the genitive, nthaḥ in the nominative; this sūtra has two words.पथिमथ्यृभुक्षामात् से पथिमथ्यृभुक्षाम् तथा इतोऽत् सर्वनामस्थाने से सर्वनामस्थाने की अनुवृत्ति आती है।From 'pathimathyṛbhukṣām āt' the anuvṛtti of pathimathyṛbhukṣām, and from 'ito't sarvanāmasthāne' the anuvṛtti of sarvanāmasthāne, are brought down.
पथिन्, मथिन् और ऋभुक्षिन् शब्दों के थकार के स्थान पर न्थ आदेश होता है सर्वनामस्थान के होने पर।In the words pathin, mathin, and ṛbhukṣin, the substitute ntha takes the place of the tha when a sarvanāmasthāna is present.
पन्थाः।panthāḥ.रास्ता, मार्ग।a road, a path.पथिन् शब्द से सु, पथिमथ्यृभुक्षामात् से पथिन् के नकार के स्थान पर आकार आदेश हुआ- पथि+आ+स् बना।From the word pathin comes su; by 'pathimathyṛbhukṣām āt' the substitute ā comes in place of the na of pathin, giving pathi+ā+s.इतोऽत् सर्वनामस्थाने से थि के इकार के स्थान पर अकार आदेश हुआ- पथि+आ+स् बना।By 'ito't sarvanāmasthāne' the substitute a comes in place of the i of thi, giving pathi+ā+s.थो न्थः से थ के स्थान पर न्थ आदेश हुआ- पन्थि+आ+स् बना।By 'tho nthaḥ' the substitute ntha comes in place of the tha, giving panthi+ā+s.पन्थि+आ में सवर्णदीर्घ करके स् का रुत्वविसर्ग करके पन्थाः सिद्ध हुआ।In panthi+ā, applying savarṇa-dīrgha and turning the s into ru and then visarga, panthāḥ is established.
पन्थानौ।panthānau.पथिन् से औ, इतोऽत् सर्वनामस्थाने से थि के इकार के स्थान पर अकार आदेश हुआ- पथन्+औ बना।From pathin, au; by 'ito't sarvanāmasthāne' the substitute a comes in place of the i of thi, giving pathan+au.थो न्थः से थ के स्थान पर न्थ आदेश हुआ- पन्थन्+औ बना।By 'tho nthaḥ' the substitute ntha comes in place of the tha, giving panthan+au.सर्वनामस्थाने चासम्बुद्धौ से दीर्घ करके पन्थान् औ बना, वर्णसम्मेलन होकर पन्थानौ सिद्ध हुआ।By 'sarvanāmasthāne cāsambuddhau' lengthening occurs, giving panthān au, and on combining the letters panthānau is established.इसी तरह पन्थानः, पन्थानम्, पन्थानौ बन जाते हैं।In the same way panthānaḥ, panthānam, panthānau are formed.
