L1definition

aṅgānāmof the limbs genitive: the limbs whose arrangement is meantअंगों का (जिन अंगों की रचना अभिप्रेत है, उनका)

saundaryam — beauty; aṅgānām — of the limbs; yathocitam — as fitting; sanniveśaḥ — is the arrangement; bhavet — is.
Beauty is this: the limbs arranged just as they should be, each in fitting proportion. This is the lakṣaṇa (definition) of saundarya (beauty) that the next verse will illustrate.
The definition verse for saundarya; the following four lines (yathā—) are its udāharaṇa (illustration).

Your face, Kṛṣṇa, with its long eyes; your chest full and broad, like the swelling bank of an emerald hill.
The udāharaṇa (illustration) of saundarya defined in L1: a head-to-hip praise of Kṛṣṇa's beautifully proportioned limbs, spoken to him directly (te, kaṁsāre).

pārśva-yugalamthe pair of sides / flanksदोनों पार्श्व (दोनों पहलू)
bhuja-dvandvam — the two arms; stambha-dyuti-suvalitam — well-rounded with a pillar's sheen; pārśva-yugalam — the pair of sides.
The two arms, and the two flanks, gracefully rounded and gleaming like polished pillars.
Viśvanātha attaches stambha-dyuti to the arms (bhuja-dvandvaṁ stambha-dyuti); the phrase-order here keeps the compound whole and lets the verse construe both ways.

madhyaḥ — the waist; parikṣīṇaḥ — very slender; jaghanam — the hips; prathima-laharī-hāri — captivating with a wave of breadth.
The waist drawn very slender; the hips captivating, rippling out in a wave of breadth.
prathima = breadth/expanse; laharī the commentators read as a rising surge of sweetness (see Jīva s3, Viśvanātha s3). jaghana is glossed as a male's hip-region — see the prose notes.

tatra — there; saundaryam — 'beauty'; suramyāṅgatva-paryāyam — a synonym for the state of having very lovely limbs.
Jīva: here 'saundarya' just means having very lovely limbs — that is what the word amounts to.

Jīva flags the illustrative verse by its opening word, 'mukham', and turns to gloss its terms.

Jīva: 'laharī' here does not mean a literal wave — it means sweetness welling up more and more, wave after wave.

jaghana-śabdaḥ — the word 'jaghana'; puṁskaṭy-agra-bhāge api — also for the front of a man's waist; prayujyate — is used.
Jīva heads off a worry: 'jaghana' usually names a woman's hips, but the word is also used for the front of a man's waist — so it fits Kṛṣṇa here.

Jīva proves the point from scripture: in the Bhāgavata's Second-Canto description of the cosmic Virāṭ form, the earth's surface is called his 'jaghana' — showing the word applies to a male body.
Why cited: Cited to prove that jaghana is properly used of a male, licensing its use for Kṛṣṇa in the verse.
