yasmin dine prasūteyaṁ devakī tvāṁ janārdana |

devakīDevakī nominative, the subjectदेवकी ने
tvāṁyou accusative, object of 'gave birth to'आपको
janārdanaO Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa, whom people beseech) vocativeहे जनार्दन
janārdana — O Janārdana; yasmin dine — on the day on which; iyaṁ devakī — this Devakī; tvāṁ — you; prasūtā — bore.
O Janārdana, there was a day on which this Devakī gave birth to you. The speaker is fixing on that one birth-day and is about to ask which day it was. 'This Devakī' points to her as the well-known mother. The line only sets up the question; the request comes next.
Why cited: Opens the Bhaviṣyottara passage that Rūpa quotes as scriptural warrant for keeping Kṛṣṇa's appearance-day festival (janma-dina-yātrā).
janārdana: at home a standard name of Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa, often taken as 'the one people petition/beseech' (jana + ardana); here it is a fitting address, since the speaker is himself about to petition him.

vaikuṇṭha — O Vaikuṇṭha; tad-dinaṁ — that day; brūhi — tell; ca — and; tatra — on it; te — for you; utsavam — a festival; kurmaḥ — we will hold.
O Vaikuṇṭha, tell us that day. And on that day we will hold a festival for you. Here is the actual request the first line was building toward. The reason for asking is stated too: they mean to celebrate your appearance, so they need to know the date. 'We' shows this is the devotees speaking together.
Why cited: The core proof-text: the request itself — 'tell us the day and we will keep a festival' — is the scriptural basis for observing Kṛṣṇa's birth-festival.
vaikuṇṭha: at home the name of Viṣṇu's eternal, deathless abode; used as a name of the Lord himself, 'he who is / who rules Vaikuṇṭha.' The address underlines that the one being asked is the supreme Lord, yet he took birth from Devakī.

samyak-prapannānāṁof those who have fully taken shelter of you genitive pluralभली-भाँति शरण में आए हुओं पर
prasādaṁyour grace / favor accusative, object of 'show'कृपा
kuruplease show imperativeकीजिए
keśavaḥO Keśava (slayer of Keśī / lord of fine hair) nominative form standing for the vocative 'keśava'हे केशव
keśavaḥ — O Keśava; tena — thereby; samyak-prapannānāṁ — of those fully surrendered; prasādaṁ — grace; kuru — show.
O Keśava, by that festival show your grace to those who have fully surrendered to you. This is the fruit they ask for: that celebrating your birth-day should draw down your mercy. 'Fully surrendered' names who receives it — your complete devotees. So the whole appeal is: tell us the day, we will celebrate, and let that celebration win your favor for your surrendered ones.
Why cited: Closes the proof-text by stating the festival's fruit — the Lord's grace on his surrendered devotees — which is why Rūpa adduces the passage to commend the observance.
keśavaḥ: printed in the nominative where the address (vocative keśava) is meant — a common Purāṇic/metrical irregularity, not a change of sense. The name is read either as 'slayer of the demon Keśī' or as 'he of the beautiful hair (keśa).'
